Description
Parker described his invention as it "relates to an improvement on that class of burglar-alarms which I have described in my Patent No. 167,559, dated September 7, 1875; the object of my present improvement being to simplify the construction of my alarms, to reduce their cost, and to facilitate the operation of applying them to doors or windows." (Patent number 183,203)
