Description
"This is one of the first three shirts made of nylon, early in the development of nylon at the Experimental Station of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. The Central Research Department wove fabric on an experimental loom (the first woven fabric from nylon) and had a dress maker assemble the shirts for test wear; C. H. Creenewalt wore one and I another, do not recall who had the third one - Gordon D. Patterson Sr."
