Description
DuPont commissioned American costume designer William Travilla to design and make this dress out of Qiana for promotional purposes. Travilla was best known for making clothing for actress Marilyn Monroe.

Qiana was introduced to the public on June 27, 1968. This dress is part of Hagley's DuPont Fiber "Firsts" collection.
