Both the restaurant and the fan maker were located in Paris. The exact address and name of the "evantaillistes" (paper designers) is printed on the bottom right corner of the fan: "GOOSSENS [company name] Frère et Soeur [brother and sister] Evantaillistes [paper designers] Paris, 32. Av. Opéra."
