Description
In 1985 Canadian inventor Rosalie Floyd patented “The Jiffy”, a uniquely designed unisex urinal, after her own uncomfortable and frustrating experience with a hospital bedpan. The opening of Floyd’s patented urinal is shaped so that it can be used against the vagina’s anatomy. She patented an improved design in 1989.
