Description
Gorham Co. received highest awards for this pitcher at the Exposition Universeille, Paris, 1900 and the Pan-American Exposition in 1901.
The trophy was put up for open competition in 1901 and then withdrawn in 1911 when it came into the possession of the DuPont Co. in the course of business affairs. It was renamed the "Hazard Double Target Challenge Trophy" and was competed for until 1918 when it was permanently retired.
