Description
DuPont Advertising Artwork: To promote the use of smokeless gunpowder for hunting, this painting was reproduced on the back cover of "Important American Games Birds", published by DuPont in 1917. The booklet contained prints of twenty-three game birds and ducks by Lynn Bogue Hunt. It was also used on the 1907 DuPont calendar and reproduced as prints for customer giveaways.
