Description
Corfam was a poromeric artificial leather material created by the DuPont Company which gave the appearance of patent leather. Primarily identified for the high end shoe industry, it was only sold commercially for seven years from 1964-1970. In 1971 DuPont sold the technology for making Corfam to a company in Poland.
This is test Corfam purse #157 which was given to a DuPont Company employee to wear test for a certain period of time. After which, she filled out a questionnaire and was permitted to keep it.
