Description
Atwood's improvements were to the draft-plate to a class of lamps "in which there is an air-distributer around the upper portion of the wick-tube and a draft-plate within the chimney, so that the lower edge of that chimney is some distance below that air-distributer and draft-plate." (Patent Number 133,397)
