Description
McKinney's patent regulates "the action of a horse's fore feet by placing, and firmly attaching, a weight upon the toe, and at the same time thoroughly and effectually protect the hind part of the fore feet from injury by overreaching of the hind feet, so that the same strap which holds the weight... to its place, shall also hold the quarter-boot upon the hind part of the foot..." (Patent Number 165,014)
