Description
Carson's patent "is very easily made, and the parts are readily adapted to each other, and when put together and the frame secured to the window-sash, which is done by merely screwing it upon the sash and without mortising or injuring the sash, the device is ready for use. It is so simple that it cannot easily get out of order, and it is very strong and durable." (Patent Number 261,998)
