Description
Haskell and Garrett's patent "has relation to means for coiling wire to be used in the manufacture of woven-wire mattresses; and it consists in a cylindrical core, having a helical groove in its periphery, in combination with a barrel in which the core is secured, whereby straight wire forced through said groove will be caused to assume a regular spiral shape..." (Patent Number 152,557)
