Description
Bruce's invention "relates to a receptacle having two distinct compartments or magazines in it, both open at top, one for lump-coal, and the other for slack-coal or screenings. The lump-coal compartment has a slatted or perforated bottom, through or behind which all finer particles, such as dust, falls into the passage or discharging-channel of the other receptacle or magazine." (Patent Number 152,595)
