Description
Fenwick's patent "relates to the combination of a skirt-board with its supporting-standards and base-frame, by means whereby such board may be tipped or turned up or down, and moved longitudinally back and forth with reference to one of said standards, such being to admit not only of a shirt being readily applied to or removed, as occasion may require, but of the whole mechanism being folded or collapsed..." (Patent Number 153,891)
