Description
The object of Tenant's patent "is to facilitate the construction and render more certain in action the steam-jet pumps for which Letters Patent No. 174,390 were issued ...March 7, 1876..." His improvements include "a peculiar construction of nozzle or steam-vertage, which is made separate from the pump, and has the shell or globe cast around it." (Patent Number 206,054)
