Glynn and Borowsky's patent is a "machine of sufficient size for convenience. The model is considered to be of full size." What they consider novel is "the application of the reversed A knife or cutter, E, and the spring jaws, C, C, for holding the cue so it can be cut off square for the leather, these jaws will open or close to suit the size of the cues..."
