Description
Hovey's patent adds a pole or handle, pivoted or hinged to the upper portion of the frame, which "served to enable a person to rock such frame and thereby impart a pendulous motion to the swing, the whole being designed for the exercise and pleasure of a child." (Patent Number 112,708)
