Description
Marsh's patent "relates to a certain improvement in letter or mail boxes; and it consists of a cylinder or part of a cylinder, which receives and deposits the mail in the box, eccentrically connected to the cover thereof, it being hung in the box with about half of its surface exposed, and of the construction of the door, opened in taking out the mail..." (Patent Number 186,429)
