Description
MacDonald's patent "relates to an improved truss or apparatus to be employed in cases of rupture for retaining the tumor or hernia. It consists in constructing such trusses so that the pressure exerted by the pad upon the part affected with the rupture or hernia may be readily and instantly regulated, and that said pressure may be accurately indicated and recorded." (Patent Number 204,060)
