Description
Goodyear's patent objective "is to make an adjustable fastening or lock for the purpose of convenient separation, and holding together at pleasure the block of the last and the last itself." He accomplishes this by making a pin or plug in a cam-shape which is placed in a metallic sheath. (Patent Number 65,560)
