Description
Creighton's patent relates to "a method of communicating intelligence through speaking-tubes shown and described in Letters Patent of the United States" that were issued to him on June 29, 1869 and then reissued on September 30, 1873. The patent drawing represents his improvements in "a hotel-annunicator." (Patent Number 172,913)
