Description
Stopple's patent "relates to certain improvements in presses for baling cotton or hay, the object of which is to equalize the pressure of the levers upon the follower, and hold it all at times in a horizontal position, to distribute the pressure or resistance upon the follower-actuating levers, to lesson friction, and to control the power and speed of the press." (Patent Number 216,908)
