Morgan's patent "relates to a machine for making harrow-teeth and similar articles, in which I employ feed-rolls which rotate continuously, but give an intermittent forward feed to the bar, and in so doing sever, or partially sever, the successive blanks and give to them a chisel or wedge point at one end..." (Patent Number 240,920)
