Description
Buttles's invention consists "first, in an improved method of constructing the heads for the purpose of holding the inner band more securely, and also of protecting its edges; secondly, in a method of strengthening the upper head so that it can be made very light without danger of fracture; and thirdly, in an improved method of attaching and staying the outer band without the employment of the annular flanges heretofore generally employed for the purpose.
