Description
Wright's invention "relates to the engine cut-offs, controllable by the governor, and in which the cut-off valves, that may also be the induction ones, are actuated by a variable tappet motion. The invention consists in a combination of peculiarly constructed and reversely arranged vibrating valve-lifters, also capable of longitudinal motion relatively with the axis about which they vibrate for the purpose of varying the action of the cut-off."
