Description
The nature of White's invention "consists in constructing of suitable material a fastener for holding open doors and shutters, consisting of a hollow cone open at its point or apex, and which is fastened on the wall against which the door, intended to be fastened, lies when open, and a pyramid-shaped lock, provided with a latch and spring in its interior, and a thumb-key running into it." (Patent Number 89,101)
