Description
Kane's invention "relates to an improvement in hydraulic engines, its object being to produce an oscillating motion by means of hydraulic pressure. To attain this end this invention consists of a piston at the end of an arm attached to a vertical journaled shaft, which piston and arm are made alternately to move first in one direction, and when arrived at a certain point to return to its starting-place..." (Patent Number 225,614)
