Description
Foster's invention "relates to certain improvements in spring bed-bottoms; and it consists in the combination, with spiral springs and slates supported thereon, of a wire secured to the several slats at consecutive points alternately on opposite sides of a straight line passing at right angles across said slats." (Patent Number 229,243)
