Description
The nature of Schafhaus's invention "consists in the arrangement of a suitable chamber containing a movable sieve on the outside of the mash-machine, through which all water required in the mashing process is made to pass to be deprived of any impurities contained therein, and by which arrangement this sieve can at any time be readily cleaned." (Patent Number 148,508)
