Description
John and Alexander Rannie’s invention was “…designed especially for use in the manufacture of what are known in the trade as “soft” goods, such as ginger snaps, bon-bons, fancy desert-biscuits, &c…,” and for cracker-making. The machine is constructed to quickly remove scraps of the dough after cutting shapes to avoid clogging the cutters. (Patent Number 185,351)
