This blasting machine creates a spark through a crank that generates static electricity to set off the charges.

Based on H. Julius Smith's patent for an Electrical Battery with the objective to produce "an electrical machine constructed with especial reference to portability and to working in all conditions of the atmosphere." (Patent #93,563)
