Description
Tinsley and Storer's patent "consists in the construction and arrangement of a mold for casting finger-rings... In the central opening... is inserted a tubular core... made of sheet metal or other suitable material, the edges of which overlap each other without being fastened together. This core is thus made yielding so as to allow for the shrinking of the metal." (Patent Number 118,169)
