Description
Doremus's patent "relates to locks designed more especially for drawers and boxes, as well as night-latches for doors. The main object of my improvement is to so construct a lock that the operative parts can be adjusted and set to suit the bridge, ward, or tumbler recesses of a key." (Patent Number 243,870)
