Description
Wolfinger's patent "relates to an improvement in cases for sewing-machines; and it consists in forming a flange or extension on one side of the top of the cover, and providing the flange on its under side with suitable hooks or catches; and in forming on the end of the frame a rabbet or recess, upon which the flange on the cover rests when it is desired to convert the cover into an extension of the frame or table..." (Patent Number 154,311)
