Description
Slessinger's patent improvements consist of "a boot having its vamp and counter cut rounding, so as to extend at their centers up the boot-leg in front and behind, the edges of said counter and vamp curving downwardly and overlapping one another, and their respective ends extending down to the sole, the boot-leg being made in two parts with side seams, the lower portions of which seams overlap and are united by rivets and stitching combined, while their upper parts are united by a welt and stitching only..."
