Description
Beebe's patent "relates to lamps and lanterns; and consists in a deflector arranged over the usual perforated top plate and perforated cap of the 'burner' in such a manner as to direct a continuous current of air within the cap toward the burner, and divide such current of air from the air that passes up through the top plate and enters the perforated cap from its exterior." (Patent Number 134,631)
