Description
Devilliers's patent "relates to pavements of which the surfaces consist of paving-blocks of any kind of stone. Its object is to obtain by simple and practical means the binding together of the blocks of stone, and at the same time to obtain for pavements of this kind a bed more stable and more resisting than any that has heretofore been obtained." (Patent Number 222,025)
