Baxter's patent "relates to a new and useful improvement in stoves, whereby they are rendered convertible, for different uses,..." "This stove is designed for burning coal as fuel, but any suitable fuel may be used, as in other stoves....One important feature of the stove is, the provision made for heating tailors' 'irons'".
