Description
Stetson's patent "is intended particularly for the use of harness-makers, and its object is to produce rapidly, easily, and with uniformity, upon leather straps of various widths and thicknesses, ornamental lines, indented or rubbed into stock in imitation of handwork, and of such configuration as may be desired, whether straight and parallel or wavy and alternately approaching and receding from each other."
