Description
Carr and Holbrook's patent "consists in the improved mode of fastening and unfastening the instep-block of the common boot and shoe-last, so that the instep-block can be readily attached or detached at pleasure, by means of a sliding bolt, which forms a catch, being operated by a coil spring; also in the manner of sliding the bolt or catch, so as to detach the instep-block from the main part of the last."
