Description
Miller's patent "has for its object to provide a cheap and simple fastening for last-blocks, adapted to prevent the block from being moved independently endwise, sidewise, or outwardly when in position on the block." (Patent Number 194,878)

He kept 50% of his rights and assigned 25% to Monk and 25% to Wales.
