Description
Harvey's patent "relates to an improvement in last-block fasteners; and it consists in attaching a spring plate in the upper end of the block, and bending the rear end of the plate downward, so as to make it fit in a groove or recess formed in the top of the last, whereby a fastening is formed which will hold the block securely in place, and yet allow it to be removed without the trouble of loosening or moving any parts of the fastening..."
