Description
The object of Gridley's invention is to "produce a cheap, simple, and easily-operated device, which can be used in connection with a wash-tub, of any size or form, which will offer no impediment to the introduction of the mop into the tub, and which will express the water from the mop without any loss of time, with the application of but little power, and with no tendency to capsize the tub." (Patent Number 75,679)
