Description
Marshall's improvement "relates to the construction of the socket-board, and consists in facing the ordinary socket-board with another slotted or socketed board, the sockets in the latter, or facing-board, being shorter than those in the former, or main board, so that the two being fitted together, the main sockets will be covered at their extremities, and between their ends will be left open for the passage of air." (Patent Number 78,219)
