Description
West states, "My improvements relate to the apparatus wherein the ice is produced. I employ for this purpose open vessels of thin metal, containing the water to be frozen, and suspended or resting in the compartments in a casing, through which cooled brine is made to circulate, the brine being introdiced in the compartment at one end of the casing, and circulating in a zigzag direction through all the compartments to the other end."
