Description
Hartley's invention "relates to certain improvements in caddies or receptacles for teas, coffees, spices, or other articles, and is particularly designed for the use of grocers, druggists, and other merchants dealing in such articles as are stored or kept in bulk and retailed in small quantities; and it has for its object to provide for the transfer of such articles in quantities as will prevent unnecessary handling - as in the old way, by means of a scoop - from the main or stock receptacle, as required."
